Explosion-proof crane components are
part of Konecranes' high quality component family. They are designed and
manufactured with the latest technology to ensure the highest safety level
in explosion-proof application.
Explosion-proof crane components are designed to prevent ignition of
combustible gas, vapour or mist which, when combined with air, can product
a highly explosive mixture at production and storage sites. Hazardous
locations where explosion protection is required include chemical and
petrochemical plants, paint shops, offshore rigs, etc.
Konecranes' explosion-proof components cover all applications equal or
less sensitive than protection classification EEx de IIB T4 as standard.
EEx de IIC T4, EEx d IIB T4 and EEx d IIC T4 classified components are
available on request.
